1. QQ (Quality Quandary) (Time 1:10)
What should a real quality system actually do? In this segment we unpack an October 2025 NHS paper on what UK healthcare leaders want from a quality management system. Nothing fancy: shared definition of high quality care; proactive approach to achieve it. Guess what! It can be – and is being – done in Australia. But it does make you wonder – why are these basics so hard to come by?

2. DRDR (Did Read, Do Read) (Time 6:30)
Does seeing more patients make doctors riskier – or safer? This 2021 American study looked at how medical malpractice claims vary with clinical volume, both as annual claims risk and as claims per 1000 patient encounters. Total claims go up with more patients seen, while risk per visit is higher when doctors see very few patients and then levels off once they are busy enough.
3. NEW SEGMENT! KEEPING UP WITH JONES (KUWJ) (Time 10:10) This segment tackles AI-related issues, tips and hacks as Jones dives deep into the intersection between QI and AI – with Balding throwing her 2 bitcoins in for good measure.
